Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 2 serrano chiles, minced or 1/2 te. minced habanero
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juice

Preparation

Step 1

Place the dried cranberries in a small bowl. Pour the hot water over the cranberries. Let sit for 10 minutes. Drain, reserving the water.

In a food processor, combine the soaked cranberries, the fresh or frozen cranberries, the 2 Tbsp. water, and the chiles. Pulse until finely chopped and well mixed.

Place in a small bowl and stir in the red onion, cilantro and lime juice.

Cover and store in the refrigerator for u to 4 days.
