Ingredients
- 1/2 Recipe
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 Tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 Tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup low-salt tamari or low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar or orange juice (OJ makes mellower sauce)
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch or arrowroot (optional thickener)

- 6 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup toasted sesame oil
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup low-salt tamari or low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar or orange juice (OJ makes mellower sauce)
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch or arrowroot (optional thickener)

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oil on high heat sauté onions 3 minutes add garlic and ginger cook 2 minutes or until lightlty brown, turn heat to medium.
2. Stir in Brown Sugar, Tamari and Vinegar (Juice) simmer for 3 to 5 minutes purée in a blender or food processor (or blend in the pan using immersion blender)
NOTE: Add cornstarch (arrowroot) blended with 1/4 cup of water if thicker consistency is desired makes 3 cups
