Basil Lillet Kamikaze

Lillet is aperitif made with wine and is the flavor foundation in this Kamikaze styled beverage shaken with basil, gin and orange juice.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Lillet Blanc
- 2 ounce gin
- 1 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 cup whole basil leaves, plus small sprigs, for garnish
- 1 cup ice cubes, plus more for each glass
- 1 ounce tonic water
- Cucumber spears for garnish

Step 1
Mix the Lillet, gin, orange juice, and whole basil leaves in a cocktail shaker. Let the mixture sit at least 30 minutes to infuse.
When ready to serve make each Kamikaze individually by adding 1 cup ice cubes to the shaker. Cover and shake well.
Strain the Kamikaze into a ice filled glass and top with a splash of tonic water. Garnish with a cucumber spear and serve.
