TIPS:

This is a great gift for friends and family, especially around the holidays. Surprise them by adding a colorful toothbrush and some flavored dental floss to each gift bag. It might be worth a chuckle or two.

For easy cleanup, line each baking pan with heavy-duty aluminum foil before adding popcorn.

Sometimes people like just one kind of nut or another; others like theirs all mixed up. So have a little fun with the combination of nuts you use; try one, two or all three of the choices!

Great recipe! I added 1 tsp vanilla (thank you utah chef) and used 1 ex-large bowl instead of 2 baking dishes (thank you D=). I put the popcorn and unsalted peanuts in the bowl and put in the 200degree oven to warm while making candy. Used the 3qt pot and started the 5 minute timer just after seeing the first bubbles on side of pot. Made two batches and both were perfect!

My sister-in-law makes this for all of our holiday get togethers to munch on while we play games. Absolutely fabulous!

This is wonderful! I added vanilla after stirring in the baking soda and replaced the pecans with dry roasted peanuts..DELICIOUS. Bet my family will eat it all before the day is over. =) For a cheaper alternative, I air-popped the popcorn into a very large metal bowl (with no rubber on and just left the popcorn in that bowl to put it in the oven...saved me from washing a few more big dishes; much easier to stir w/o getting it all over the counter; served it in the large bowl. Hope you enjoy it, too. Excellent warm or cold!

I love this recipe! I have even given it away as gifts and brought it to office parties! Everyone loves it!

This is a terrific gift idea around the holidays! Holiday giving to me is LOVE. Giving your time in a gift such as this one is showing LOVE.

This is an awesome recipe!!

I make this frequently for weekend treats and, by Sunday evening, it''s always gone. I do use a bit more salt than what''s called for in the recipe. I''ve added peanuts and pecans and both are good additions. I also air pop the popcorn to save a bit in the way of calories.

This recipe was great! It was incredibly easy to make and delicious!
