DOT NOT USE A METAL SPOON OR BOWL AND DO NOT REFRIGERATE THE MIX. If air gets in the bag, let it out; it's normal for the batter to rise, bubble and ferment. After the last Sunday, stir with a wooden spoon. You will have abou 9 to 10 cups of batter, divide, giveaway, keep and bake however you like. One cup per gallon Ziploc bag for each giveaway and one to keep for yourself. Bake with the remaining batter. See Amish Friendship Bread Recipe.
