Ingredients

• 5 cups sugar
• 3 cups water
• 2 cups light corn syrup
• 1 tsp cream
• pinch of salt
• add flavor and color as desired
• This is my Mom's recipe and I'm not sure what she means by cream....Cream of tartar? or dairy cream??

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ingredients well and cook untilmixture reaches hard crack stage (290)

Pour by spoonfull onto a marble slab and add sticks

Turn over as they cool

You may also form lollypops by pouring mixture into cast iron molds.

When cool, wrap with wax or plastic
