Mom's Pork Satay

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup peanut oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 crushed garlic cloves or 1 tsp bottled minced garlic
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 2 pork tenderloins, about 1-1/2 lbs

Step 1
1. In a medium-size bowl, blend all ingredients together, except pork. Slice tendloins in half lengthwise. Place cut-side down. Thinly slice lengthwise into 3 or 4 slices. Cut slices crosswise into 3 or 4 pieces. Toss pork in marinade until coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
2. Oil grill and preheat barbecue. If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 15 minutes before using to prevent burning.
3. Thread pork onto skewers so that pork slices will lie fairly flat on barbecue. Place on hot grill. Barbecue, turning once, until well browned and firm to the touch, about 8 minutes. Serve with peanut sauce.
