Ingredients

  • For the dressing:
  • 1 medium head green cabbage, chopped
  • 8 green onions, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup roasted and salted sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup slivered almonds
  • 2 packages ramen noodles, chicken flavor (uncooked)
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 packets chicken flavor seasoning from ramen noodles

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium bowl, mix together sunflower seeds, almonds and crushed Ramen noodles. Reserve until ready to serve.

In a large bowl, mix together cabbage, green onions and green pepper.

Then prepare dressing and pour over cabbage mixture. Chill until ready to serve.

Just before serving, add nut and noodle mixture to cabbage.

For the Dressing:
Mix all ingredients well in shaker container. Add to cabbage, onions and green pepper.
