Broomstick Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 tablespoons heavy cream
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
• 2/3 cup ground almonds

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

1. in a saucepan over low heat, mix all the ingredients together until the butter JUST melts.
2. Lightly grease cookie sheets.
3. Put only 4 cookies on a cookie sheet at a time.
4. Put a teaspoonful of doughevenly spaced on a cookie sheet.
5. Use an airbake cookie sheet under your regular cookie sheet, and place in the oven.
6. As soon as the centers of the cookies begin to get a little brown, remove from the oven.
7. Place a spatula under one cookie at a time and remove from the sheet.
8. Wrap around a broomstick handle or wooden spoon and press together.
