Ingredients
- 4 cups oatmeal
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- heavy dash of salt
- heavy dash of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup oil (I prefer peanut oil)
- 2 TBLS sugar
- 1/2 cup honey

Step 1
Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl. Put last three ingredients on a medium stove top until frothy. remove from heat and add 4 tsp vanilla. Combine with dry ingredients until well incorporated. Bake on greased jelly roll pan for 30 min at 300 degrees. Stir the granola immediately out of oven. Allow to cool and add cranberries or raisins or chocolate chips or all of the above. :)
