Ingredients
- 4 avocados
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon or lime juice
- 1/4 cup minced cilantro
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup chopped tomato
- 1 to 2 jalapenos, seeded and minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced (if desired)

Step 1
Cut avocados in half and remove seeds. Scoop out pulp and place in bowl. Drizzle pulp with lemon or lime juice and mash. Combine with remaining ingredients, mix well and serve with tortilla chips or as a side with any Mexican dish.
