  • For Blue Cheese Butter:
  • 2 T extra-virgin oil
  • 2 T Worchestire sauce
  • 1 T port wine
  • 1 T Montreal steaks seasoning
  • 4 8oz ribeye steaks
  • 3 T butter, softened
  • 3 T blue cheese, crumbled

Preparation

Step 1

1) Preheat broiler. Line a baking sheet or broiler pan with foil; set aside. For marinade, in a small bowl, combine olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, port wine, and steak seasoning; set aside.

2) Place steaks on a platter and pour marinade over steaks. Price each steak several times with a fork so that marinade works its way into the meat. Turn steaks over and repeat. Let steaks stand.

3) Meanwhile, for Blue cheese butter, in a small bowl, mash together the softened butter and blue cheese with a fork; set aside.

4) Broil steaks 4-6 inches from heat for 5-7 minutes per side for med. Serve steaks with Blue Cheese Butter.
