  • Sauce:
  • 1 10 lb Fresh Ham
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 1 1/2 t pepper
  • 2 cups water
  • 6 t salt
  • 8 T sugar
  • 1/2 t cayenne pepper
  • 4 T prepared mustard
  • 2 lemons, sliced thin
  • 4 big onions, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Put all ingredients in a pot and simmer on low, uncovered for 20 min. Add
  • 2 cups catsup
  • 8 T worcestershire sauce

Step 1

Bake fresh ham at 300@ ~ 40 min. per lb. or until meat thermometer registers well done. Strip fat from ham, slice and shred. Alternate layers of ham with the sauce.
Should be prepared a day before serving. Sauce recipe is sufficient for a 10 lb. ham
