Ingredients

  • 1 lb. brown sugar
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • ¼ lb. soft butter
  • ¼ to ½ tsp. ground nutmeg
  • ¼ to ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ to ½ tsp. cloves
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together (requires softening of the ice cream). This makes quite a big batch, so part can be split into two containers. Store in freezer
To make a drink: put at least 1 tbsp batter into a mug, add a jugger of rum or whiskey and add boiling water. Stir and garnish with nutmeg.
