Ingredients

  • Cake:
  • 1 pkg lemon cake mix
  • 1/4 C marg or butter
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/3 C water
  • 2 eggs
  • 21 oz. can blueberry pie filling
  • 1/2 C chopped almonds or pecans
  • Frosting:
  • use any frosting/cream cheese frosting (can add 1/4 tsp lemon extract to flavor)

Step 1

Heat over to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9 X 13 pan. Combine cake mix, 1/4 C marg and cream cheese. Reserve 1 C for topping. To remaining crumbs, add water and eggs and beat 2 minutes. Pour into pan. Spread pie filling over batter. Combine reserved 1 C crumbs and pecans/almonds. Sprinkle over pie filling.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes.

Cool 25 minutes. Glaze with frosting.
