Ingredients

  • 4 Ounces Spaghetti, Cooked
  • 1 T Butter
  • 1 Egg, Beaten
  • 1/4 C Parmesan Cheese, Grated
  • 1 C Lowfat Cottage Cheese
  • 1/2 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 C Onion, Chopped
  • 1/2 C Green Pepper, Chopped
  • 1 Clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1 8 oz Can Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 C Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded

Step 1

In a sauce pan cook spaghetti in a large amount of water for 10 - 12 minutes. Drain well; stir butter into hot pasta until melted. Stir in egg and parmesan cheese. Spray a 9 inch pie plate with pam. Press spaghetti mixture into the bottom and up the sides of pie plate, forming a crust. Spread cottage cheese over crust. In a skillet cook beef, onions, green peppers, and garlic. Drain fat. Stir in tomato sauce; heat through. Spread meat mixture over cottage cheese. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes.
