Ingredients

  • Fudge:
  • 5 oz Baking Chocolate
  • 1 1/2 sticks Margarine
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla sugar
  • 3 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Flour
  • Cookie:
  • 2 sticks Margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 12 oz Mini Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Step 1

Fudge:
Preheat oven to 350.
Melt chocolate and margarine. Add sugar, vanilla sugar and flour. Beat the eggs very well and add to the mixture. Mix well. Pour into a lined 9x13 and bake @ 350 for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out mostly dry. Allow to cool. Cut into 1" squares.

Cookies:
Cream margarine and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth. Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Using 2 Tbsp of dough, form into a ball and press a square of fudge into the center. Work the dough around the fudge cake and form it into a ball once more. Bake @ 350 for about 12-15 minutes.
