Gorgonzola and Avocado Grill

Ingredients
- Side Salad:
- 1 large Turkish Loaf
- 2 ripe avocados, sliced1cm thick
- 300 g gorgonzola dolce
- 2 witlof, leaves separated
- 1/2 telegraph cucumber, thinly sliced on an angle
- 1 celery stalk, thinly sliced on an angle
- 1 crisp green apple, halved, thinly sliced
- 1/2 c walnuts, toasted, roughly chopped
- Juice of 1 lemaon
- 1 T EVOO

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat grill to high.
Toast the the whole loaf of bread, upside down for 2 minutes until golden. Remove from grill and top the untoasted side with avocado and gorgonzola. Toast under the grill for 4 minutes unti the cheese melts and runs over the avocado.
Salad
Toss with witlof, cucumber, celery, apple, walnuts together in a bowl. Season well with salt and pepper, then dress with lemon juice and olive oil.
cut bread into wedges and serve with salad.
