Directions

Mix thoroughly shortening, butter, sugar, and eggs. Then sift and stir in flour cream of tartar soda, and salt. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts. Roll in mixrture of 2 TBS sugar and 2 TBS cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on parcment paper. Bake at 375 for 8 min. Don't overbake. (they cook similar to a sugar cookie so don't allow to get brown)
