Ingredients
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1/2 c butter
- 1 t clear vanilla
- 4 c powdered sugar
- 2 T milk

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and shortening with mixer. Add vanilla. Gradually add sugar 1 c at a time, beating well. Scrape sides a d bottom often. When all sugar is mixed, icing will be dry. Add milk and beat on high speed until light and fluffy. Keep covered with a damp cloth until ready to use. Can refrigerate. Re-whip before using.
