PIZELLES

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup shortening
• 2/3 cup sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1-3/4 to 2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• Pinch of salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs and mix well. Combine flour and baking powder and mix into shortening mixture and mix. Add vanilla and salt and mix. Drop a teaspoon of batter into middle of each section of electric pizelle and cook according to manufacturer's directions.
