Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 lb veal
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup romano cheese
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 3 slices bread (puled apart and toss with 2 Tbs water)
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Crisco

Step 1

Combine the meats, egg, garlic, cheese, parsley and white bread. Mix well. Add salt and pepper. Mix well. Add 1.4 cup dry bread crumbs. Mix again and form into balls. Heat 1/4 inch crisco in a large frying pan. Add meatballs in a single layer and cook at medium-high heat for 4 minutes. flip. Cook 4-6 minutes more (or until done). Drain on a paper towel-lined bowl.
