Amazing!!!
I made this with boneless chops and it was delicious! It was quick and easy, I will make this again.
OMG! This was such a different take on pork chops! I am soo tired of making the same ol' same ol', and when I saw this, I thought, hmm something quick and different. I added sliced mushroom and let those cook down. I also made a rice pilaf for a side. The hubby (who normally HATES onion) absolutely LOVED this! I think this would make a great salisbury steak meal..just use premade burger patties!
I would like to make this but, I read that some are adding beef broth. Are they adding that with the Progresso soup too? It all sounds so good.
Probably the best pork chops I've ever had! Moist, flavorful and very easy to prepare! I will pass this recipe around to all my family because I believe they will like it as much as we did!
Made this last night to surprise the wife (hoping the surprise wasn't going to be on me if it wasn't good) and we both loved it. I followed a comment (from SCN8TIF) & added beef broth. Can't wait to try chicken and what not.
This recipe is delicious. I made it and everyone loved it!
Great, easy recipe - I like to add sliced onions while browning my pork chops. I've also made this throwing fresh sliced mushrooms, bell peppers, even sliced apples while browning the meat. Other meat to try - boneless skinless chicken breasts, hamburger meat patties - just go crazy!
I made this last night, its delicious. It wasn't dry. The soup made a nice gravy for the the potatoes I made instead of the rice with a side of biscuits.
This is about the easiest meal to make considering how good it tastes! It was like I spent hours letting it cook or something to get that flavor. I will definitely be making this again and probably trying it with different meats also. Plus if you have some of the more common ingredients, and depending how many your making this for, it's a meal for under ten bucks!
I made this the other day and simply impressed my family and myself. I added some French Onion Soup Base to the mix with great results. I let it simmer on the stove until it was reduced to gravy consistency, while adding additional water until the chops were so tender they nearly fell apart. I can think of other meat cuts that this idea would work well with and will be trying out on my guinea piggies! Great for no non-sense week-night cooking that's almost fool proof.
I have a family of picky eaters, including a 9 and 13 year old. This recipe was sooo good! I used the progresso onion soup and added some beef broth to it and let it simmer for more like 20-25 minutes while the rice cooked. The gravy turned out great and full of flavor. Reminded me of my mom's homecooked Sunday dinner with homemade gravy. Will definitely make this again!
OMG - it sells SOOOOO good! Can't wait to eat!
Overall, we enjoyed this dish. It seemed a little bland so I plan to add a little Worcestershire sauce next time I make it. Maybe some soy sauce.
