Ingredients
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 3 12 cup baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 tsp lemon or anise extract
- Cookie Glaze
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 tsp lemon or anise extract

Cookies
Mix dry ingredients into bowl. Make a well in the center, then drop in the oil, eggs, milk and extract. Mix well into a ball. Break off pieces of dough, about one tsp. to make one log, and cut into lengths of a finger, or roll into balls, or twist like a cruller. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Frost while warm.. These keep soft.
Glaze
Mix well. Add enough milk slowly to make a thin glaze. Apply to warm cookies.
