Ingredients
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 2 ounces good quality unsweetened chocolate
- 1/4 lb (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 grade A large eggs

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter an 8" square pan and
set aside. Chop the walnuts and set aside.
Chp the chocolate into smallpieces and melt with the butter in a microwave under very low heat. Stir until smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, then the flour, then the eggs and then the nuts.
Pour into prepared pan and smooth the top.
Bake 20-25 minutes. Brownies will pull away from the sides of the pan.
Allow brownies to cool in the pan or on a rack. Cut into squares.
To freeze, place in a single layer and protect them first with plastic wrap, and then with aluminum foil.
