Ingredients

1 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 1/4 cups sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening. Gradually add sugar and cream well. Beat in egg and extract. Gradually add flour, sifted, with salt and baking powder. Fill cookie press. Form into desired shapes on ungreased cookie sheet. Temp 400 degrees. Time 10 - 12 minutes
