Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs (separated)
- 2/3 c. flour
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/3 c. fine graham cracker crumbs (about 15 crackers)
- 3/4 c. milk

Preparation
Step 1
Blend first 4 ingredients. Add sugar & cream well. Add egg yolks & beat together.
Sift flour & baking powder & mix with graham crackers.
Add dry ingredients alternating with milk to egg mixture.
Fold in [stiffly beaten] egg whites.
Bake in 2 8" later pans at 375 for 25 minutes.
