Whipped shortbread

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup icing sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Combine ingredients and beat for 10 minutes with electric beater. Drop from teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Decorate with maraschino cherry pieces. Bake at 350°F for 17 minutes until bottoms are lightly browned. Makes 3 dozen small cookies.
