Making a Boxed Cake Mix Taste Homemade

This is such an easy thing to do and the difference is WOW! I've been decorating cakes for years and this is how I make my cakes taste really good without having to make them from scratch. Since yesterday was my birthday, I thought I'd tell you how to make a boxed cake mix taste homemade. It's my birthday gift to YOU!

Ingredients

• 1 or 2 eggs
• Melted butter - NOT oil (and double the amount!!)
• Milk - NOT water

Preparation

Step 1

Step 1: Look at the directions on the cake mix.

Step 2: Add one more egg (or add 2 if you want it to be very rich.

Step 3: Use melted butter instead of oil and double the amount.

Step 4: Instead of water, use milk.

Step 5: Mix well and bake for the time recommended on the box.
