Ingredients

  • 1 cup white wine or chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (4 ounces each)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Step 1

•In a large resealable bag, combine the wine, honey, lime juice and ginger; add chicken. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 2 hours, turning once.

• Drain and discard marinade. Combine the garlic powder, salt and pepper; sprinkle over chicken. Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil and lightly coat the grill rack.

• Grill, uncovered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 6-7 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 170°.
