Ingredients

  • 3 cups of packed flour
  • 3/4 cups of white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cup of soft butter(stick)
  • 2 large eggs(beat before adding)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk and a small bowl, set aside
  • 3/4 cups of sesame seed

Step 1

Grease your cookie sheets with Pam, or parchment paper, cut the butter into pieces. Put in the blender if using one, the 3 cups of flour, the sugar, baking powder and salt, add the pieces of butter. Blend to a course cornmeal blend. Make a well, then add the eggs and milk. Divide into four pieces, make a roll, 24 inches long, cut the roll into 2 inch pieces. Take the small bowl of sesame seed, dip the pieces in milk, and roll in the seed. Place 1 inch apart on the cookie sheet. Bake 375° oven for 20 to 25 min. place on cooling rack.
