Ingredients
- 1 lb pork sausage, browned and drained
- 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
- 2 cans crescent rollw
- 1 egg white
- 1/4 to 1/2 c diced onion, optional
- 1/4 to 1/2 c chopped green pepper, optional
- 1 to 2 tsp poppy seeds

Step 1
Brown sausage in skillet; drain. add cream cheese to sausage and melt over low heat. Add onion and green pepper, if desired. Set this mixture aside. apread one can crescent rolls in bottom of lightly greased 9x13" baking dish; do not separate the rolls. Spread sausage mixture over crescent rolls. Spread other can crescent rolls on top of sausage mixture; do not seperate rolls. Pinch to seal top and bottom edges of crescent rolls together. Gloss top with egg white. Sprinkle poppy seeds on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
