- 1 (19 oz.) can garbanzo beans, half the liquid reserved
- 4 TBS. lemon juice
- 2 TBS. tahini

1. This step is not listed in the original recipe but I cook the garbanzo beans because I think it makes the hummus smoother.
2. chop the garlic, beans. Add lemon juice, tahini, chopped garlic and salt in blender. Blend until creamy and well mixed.
