Ingredients
- Dumplings:
- 1 C. cut up cooked chicken
- 2 (15 oz or 2 cups) tomato sauce or 2 cups tomatoes
- 2 (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 1/2 t. chili powder
- 1 t. cumin
- 1/4 C. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3/4 C. Bisquick, any kind
- 1/4 C. corn meal
- 1/3 C. milk

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onion and garlic in little oil. Add remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling and reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Prepare dumplings: Mix until soft dough forms. Drop by spoonfuls onto hot chili. Cook uncovered 10 mins. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook about 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
