Ingredients

  • Add:
  • Dissolve 2 pkg. yeast into 1 ½ cups warm water
  • Add ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup melted margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 ½ to 4 cups whole wheat flour

Step 1

Mix well. Add 1 ½ cups more whole wheat flour and mix by hand. Cover and let rise for 2 hours or until double. Put dough on well floured board, knead down and let rest for 15 minutes. Shape into rolls and let rise 30 to 45 minutes or until double. Bake at 350deg. For 10 to 15 minutes or until done.

Note: I also shape this dough into loaves of bread. Let rise until double, bake in 350 oven for 30 to 35 minutes

Freezes well.
