Ingredients

  • 5 1/2 to 6 lb. bone-in turkey breast
  • 1/2 c. butter, sliced
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 2 Tb. soy sauce
  • 1 Tb. dried sage
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tsp. dried marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tb. green onions, finely chopped

Step 1

Place turkey breast in an ungreased shallow roasting pan. Insert a meat thermometer into thickest part; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Bring to a boil; mix well and remove from heat. Brush butter mixture over turkey breast. Roast, uncovered, at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until thermometer reads 165 degrees, basting with butter mixture every 30 minutes. Remove turkey breast to a platter, cover lightly to keep warm. Let stand for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serves 10 to 12.
