Applesauce Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1 cup oatmeal
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon cloves
• 2 teaspoons lemon zest
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 1/2 sticks butter
• 1 lg egg
• 1/2 cup applesauce
• 1/2 cup honey
• 1 cup finely chopped peeled apple
• 1 cup raisens

Preparation

Step 1

preheat oven to 300. Combine ingredients from flour to the zest. In another bowl whisk together brown sugar, and butter until light and fluffy. Then add egg applesauce and honey. Gradually add dry ingredients then apple and raisens. Drop cookies on sheet and bake 20-25 minutes.
