Ingredients

  • Crust
  • 2 cups chocolate crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • Filling
  • 3 pkg cream cheese, softened (750 g)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 squares semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled

Preparation

Step 1

Crust
Combine crumbs and sugar. Blend in butter. Press onto bottom and sides of 8"-9" springform pan. Chill.

Filling
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, scraping down sides of bowl. Beat in eggs, one at a time, at low speed. Blend in flavouring. Pour about half the batter into a small bowl. Add melted chocolate and blend well. Pour about half the white mixture into prepered pan. Add half the chocolate mixture and repeat layers. Gently marble by drawing a knife through the layers. Bake at 300° F for 1 - 1 1/4 hours. Turn off oven and leave in for 1 hour. Cool and refrigerate for 4 hours before serving.
