- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 1/2 cups light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/2 cups AP flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Step 1
Heat oven to 350.
Line baking sheets with parchment paper; set aside.
In a mixing bowl, beat butter and brown sugar til light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add eggs and mix well. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir into the butter mixture. Fold in the pecans.
Spoon 1 1/2-inch balls of dough onto baking sheets and bake til golden brown, about 15 minutes.
