  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • juice of one half orange
  • rated orange peel
  • frosting
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon melted butter
  • orange juice

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar together and then add eggs.
Mix flour with baking powder.
Add half flour mixture and then half cup milk and then remaining flour texture.
Stir in orange juice and grated orange peel.
Bake in greased tube pan for approximately 35 minutes.
Cool for five minutes and then turn onto rack.
Mix powdered sugar, melted butter, in small amount of orange juice to make a glaze.
Pour over cake.
