Ingredients

  • 4 1" thick pork chops, bone-in
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package (6 oz) STOVE TOP seasoned stuffing mix for pork
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/4 tsp. ground sage

Step 1

Place desired number of pork chops in a baking pan...in this case 4, but more can be used. Cut excess fat off pork chops and season with salt and pepper to taste. Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 30 minutes.

While chops cook, prepare Stove Top dressing, adding celery, onion and sage or you can use your own favorite dressing.
Cover pork chops completely with the stuffing.

Cover pan with foil tightly and bake 1 hour more, removing the foil during the last 20 minutes. Serve with Mashed Potatoes, peas and applesauce, as Helen did.
