Ingredients
- 3/4 C butter, oleo
- 3 T sugar, white
- 1 1/2 C flour
- 3 eggs, yolks and whites separated
- 2 1/4 C brown sugar
- 1 C chopped nuts
- powdered sugar (for dusting)

Step 1
Grease pan and preheat oven to 350°. Mix together butter, sugar and flour. Pat in bottom of pan, bake 15 minutes.
Then, beat egg yolks with brown sugar.
Beat 3 egg yolks with 2 ¼ cup brown sugar. Add chopped nuts.
Beat egg whites, fold in the egg yolk mixture. Spread over the first part, put back in the oven.
Bake for 30 minutes more. When cooled dust with powdered sugar. Cut in squares.
