Ingredients
- refrigerated pie crust
- 2/3 cup apples, peeled, cored and chopped into small cubes
- 2/3 cup blackberries
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- pinch cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 egg, beaten

Preparation
Step 1
Cut pastry into 4 1/2 - 5" rounds.
Mix apples, blackberries, sugar and cinnamon. Place a tablespoon full into center of each round. Fold up sides and shape around filling (like a galette), overlapping and pressing sides firmly to seal overlaps (some filling should still be exposed on top.
Place on cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Chill 20-30 minutes.
Just before baking brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with some sugar.
Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream.
