Almond Strawberry Zabaglione

Ingredients
- 2 2/3 cup strawberries; sliced
- 1/2 cup toasted almonds; sliced
- 6 egg yolks
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Marsala
- 4 strawberries; whole

Preparation
Step 1
Place 1/3 cup sliced strawberries in bottom of each serving dish. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of almonds over berries in each dish. Whip egg yolks with sugar in the top of a double boiler. Add Marsala, stirring constantly. Set double boiler over cold water and cook mixture, over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce is thick and creamy. Spoon sauce over fruit and almonds. Arrange 1/3 cup strawberry slices over sauce in each dish. Sprinkle with remaining almonds. Garnish with whole berries.
