Creamed Sweet Peas

When fresh peas aren't in season, you can substitute a thawed 16-oz. package of frozen baby sweet peas.

Ingredients
- 1 Tb. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 c. peas
- 1/4 tsp. pepper

Step 1
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine flour, sugar and milk; mix well. Add peas and pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, or until peas are heated through and sauce has thickened. Makes 4-6 servings.
