CREAMY SHELLS WITH BROCCOLI & HAM 0 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (1 pound) medium-size macaroni shells
  • 1/2 pound cooked ham
  • 1 pkg (10 oz) frozen broccoli spears, thawed
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup (1/2 cup pint) heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook macaroni shells in boiling water according to directions.

Slice ham into slivers; cut broccoli into ½ inch pieces

Saute garlic, ham and broccoli in butter in large skillet until broccoli is crisp tender, about 5 minutes.

Stir in heavy cream. Cook over medium heat for 3 minutes.

Stir in cheese. Lower heat; cook, stirring frequently until cheese is melted.

Drain macaroni shells; toss with sauce.
