Animal Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c. Shortening
• 2 c. Sugar
• 2 Eggs
• 2 t. Vanilla
• 7 c. Flour
• 2 t. Baking soda
• 4 t. Cream of Tarter
• 1 c. Milk

Preparation

Step 1

Thoroughly cream shortening and sugar. Add egg. Beat until mixture is light and fluffy. Add vanilla and mix. Sift dry ingredients. Stir into creamed mixture together with milk. Divide dough in half. Roll out each half to 1/8 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Put on greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes.
