Meatloaf burgers

Instead of meatloaf make these burgers. They are tender and very tasty.

Ingredients
- 2 T vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 celery rib, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced (about 1 T)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 lb ground veal or turkey
- 1/2 c sour cream
- 1/2 c fresh bread crumbs
- 4 T Dijon mustard
- 2 teas coarse salt
- 1 teas freshly ground pepper
- 1/3 c chili sauce (optional)
- 6 hamburger buns

Step 1
Heat 1 T oil in nonstick skillet over high heat until hot but not smoking. Reduce heat to medium, add onion, celery and garlic. Cook until softened about 5 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Spread on a baking sheet to cool about l0 minutes. Gently combine beef, pork, veal, sour cream, bread crumbs, 2 T mustard and the salt and pepper. Stir in the onion mixture. Divide and shape into 6 burgers. Heat remaining 1 T oil and cook about 6 minutes on each side on medium heat. You can broil these burgers with chili sauce on top about 2 minutes. I don't use the chili sauce.
