Step 1

Mix 1 C soft butter 1/2 C sugar cream well. Stir in 2 1/2 C flour and mix with hands. Roll into long roll with hands. Slice 1 1/2 inch thick cookies Bake on ungreased sheet pan DO NOT brown tops Bake 300 degrees 20-25 mins.
