Ingredients
- 4 bunches arugula or butter head lettuce
- 2 apples, sliced
- 2 pears, sliced
- 1/4 cup toasted, walnuts or pecans
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 lb. gorgonzola cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Remove stems, wash and dry arugula. Place in bowl with apples pears and nuts.
Prepare the balsamic vinaigrette by combingin the shallot, galic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon jice. Whisk vigorously until blended.
Toss the salad with the vinaigrette and place on 4 chilled plates.
Crumble Gorgonzola on each.
